I am a cognitive neuroscientist, researcher, and science writer.

I use data science to answer questions such as: How do adverse childhood experiences change the way our brains develop? How do people make decisions in the face of ambiguity? How does exploration affect our mental health? See my projects page for information about these different lines of work.

I primarily use R and Python in my research. I use an array of methodologies, including longitudinal data analysis, regression, and computational modeling. Check out my projects page to learn more about how I use these different tools in my research. I also love translating science to broader audiences.

I have a PhD in Psychology from UCLA, with a focus in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience and a Quantitative Psychology minor. During graduate school, I worked at Slack as a Quantitative Research intern. I graduated with a B.S. in Cognitive Science from UCLA with a Specialization in Computing. During undergraduate, I worked in research labs at UCLA, UCSD, and MIT. I also lived in Florence, Italy for a while. In between undergraduate and my PhD, I worked for two years at NYU as a researcher and lab manager.

I am a huge ggplot2 fan. In addition to data visualization, things that bring me joy include my cat, pan dulce, and classic films.
